Making a cool background for anything

(The pictures in this have really bad quality so they don't look as good as they did on photoshop)

In this tutorial, we will be making a background that could work for anything. It looks like this in the end:



To start, use a gradient with a nice light shade of brown, and a very dark shade of brown.



Next go to Adjustments in the layers palette, and choose Brightness/Contrast



And use the presets from this image:



Now grab this image:



And paste it above the gradient layer. Now make a new layer and fill it with a green/baige color (66500f). Set the blending mode to overlay. Now go to filter>texture>texturizer and set the presets as shown.



Now all you have to do is make sure the layer you copied in from my post is set to Overlay, and that it's above the gradient layer but below the texturized layer. Make sure they are all under the adjustment layer, and you are finished!!
